We spent one day at Cozumel, Mexico. We hired a guy named Moises (who, he assured us, was NOT the "original Moses" haha) who drove us around in his van. He showed us some really interesting parts of the city (schools, LDS church, markets, neighborhoods) and taught us a lot of about the culture. It was very eye opening. The homes are so modest and humble. Everyone sleeps in hammocks too because of the heat. It made me realize how fortunate we are here in the United States. Moises drove us to this super nice beach/resort area where we snorkeled and played in the beach and in the pool. We all had a great time!
Heading back to the ship...
Here are some more pics from on the ship. The kids really enjoyed swimming in the pools...
The two that made this whole trip possible, Bart and Michelle, so cute...Dinners were always an event to look forward to. The food was yummy, the company was great, and the service was incredible! Our servers Freddy and Helen were awesome. They even cut up the kids food!
Auntie Tegan and the twins...
Josh was sure enjoying his ice cream, he didn't even notice that it was on his forehead!
The whole fam...
One of my favorite things on the ship was the Broadway style shows, I was SO impressed! We went to three of them, The Golden Mickeys, Toy Story, and Dreams. The cast was incredible, their voices were amazing. The props and sets were amazing too...and to think this is all happening on a ship, in the middle of the ocean! Craziness. The kids all loved the shows too, Tyce's face whenever he would see a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse character was priceless. "For the safety of those around you no photography during the show" so I have no pictures of them but here the fam is waiting for one of the shows to start. We always lined up early so we got awesome seats for all three shows...
Grandpa let each grandkid pick something out from the gift shop, Tyce completed his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse stuffed animal set by getting Minnie and Daisy...he was so excited and slept the whole night with his arms wrapped around them all...
More to come!!!
