I had a great day today. I had dreams of sleeping in really late but, for some reason, woke up at 7am and couldn't go back to sleep! I think I was really wanting to spend time with my family before I leave tomorrow for a week. Anyways, Parker made me a delicious breakfast (not of egg whites and protein shakes) and then I went and got my hair cut and ran some errands. Then I came home and took a short nap and did some laundry for my trip. Then we went to dinner with our friends Troy and Denise who have been gone all summer so it was SO fun to hang out with them again. Then we went to Baskin Robins to get my FAV ice cream (prailines and creme). Our neighbor girl Jadeh babysat the boys for us which was so nice! Thanks Jadeh! All in all it was a great day. Now it's almost 9pm, my flight leaves in less than 12 hours, and I haven't even started packing! Oh well, I only have to pack for MYSELF! How weird. Here are some pics from today...
I don't know how to pose but here I am... You can barely see my new Lia Sophia earrings that Jackson gave me but I love them! Parker also got me a necklace and Joshy got me some Charleston Chews! Yum!Putting all 27 candles on mommy's cake...Cheeeeese...Cute guys...We had Jadeh take a quick picture of us before she left...While we were getting our picture taken on the couch the boys were over here licking the frosting off the top of the cake, haha...
Well I'm off to pack. I'll update my blog when I get back next week. I'm looking forward to a relaxing week with my sister and my mom. We're also going to drive to Utah on Friday and go to the first BYU football game of the season on Saturday! Yay! Go cougars! =) Parker is planning on taking the boys to the zoo, waterpark, and on a train ride. I hope he survives his week as a mommy! I am so lucky to have a husband who is willing to take over for me so I can enjoy some time away. I love you babe! Gosh, I miss him already...

DIET IS OVER!!!
Happy Birthday to me, my diet is over! After 11 long weeks here are my results:
*Lost 24 pounds
*Lost 5 inches on my waist
*Lost 5 inches on my hips
I am happy with my results and excited to maintain it. It was hard, but I learned a lot of self control and self discipline. I am proud of myself for setting this goal and accomplishing it. Thanks to my little sis who did this with me, I could NOT have done it without her. Knowing that she was suffering along with me made it all bearable. Thanks also to my wonderful husband who, as always, supported me through the whole thing. Now off to enjoy my birthday! More to come!

Paper Plate Bugs...
Today the boys wanted to do a craft project so I got out the paper plate bugs that Parker's mom sent them a while back. They had tons of fun... Even daddy turned off the football game for a while to help out...
Oh and did I mention that in ONE WEEK I'll be on an airplane...alone, reading, sleeping, listening to music, thinking, etc...on my way to Oregon! I'm super excited for my week with my sister and mom. =)
Josh's finished product...Jackson's finished product...Thanks mom for sending those! The boys loved them!
In other news, I have one week left on my diet so I am thinking about a new goal to set for myself. I was recently called into the Young Women's program at my church and they have set a goal to read the entire Book of Mormon by Young Women's in Excellence (October 26th). I'm getting a late start but if I average four chapters a day I think I can do it. So...wish me luck!

Nothing Exciting Going On..
I've gotten many requests to update my blog (which is weird to me seeing as so few people COMMENT on my blog, yet so many people TELL me they read it). But the thing is, nothing exciting has been going on at all! Parker has been working like crazy, doesn't get home until about 8:30 most nights. I am teaching swimming lessons four days a week and being a mommy! The boys are all doing great. Here are some random pics I took this morning...
Tyce pointing at Brody... Folding his arms...
In 12 days I will be ON A PLANE ALONE HEADING TO OREGON FOR THE GIRLS RETREAT! I AM SO SO SO EXCITED TO SPEND TIME WITH MY SISTERS AND MY MOM!!!

Tyce Turns 1!!!!
My little Tyceroo is 1! His birthday was on July 31st and we celebrated it in Eagle Crest. I didn't go all out, no cake or balloons, but I don't think Tyce cared! He still had fun! Here are some pics from the festivities...
Tyce with all his presents... How cute are his new church shoes???
Tyce had his 1 year check up this week and his height is in the 90%, head in the 90%, and weight in the 50%. He is walking around like a champ now and is eating all table food now (with the exception of one bottle at night which we'll do until our formula runs out). He has been a very happy boy the past couple weeks, I think because he loves regular food and loves to walk around. Cute things he does, folds his arms for prayer, gives kisses and hugs, plays peek a boo, plays catch, dances, says ma-ma and da-da, still adores his brothers, and brings me food from the pantry when he's hungry. I'm hoping he has turned a corner, he was a difficult baby but now is such a joy! I love you Tyce!!!

My mom also got him these cute Sketchers...Auntie Lindsay got Tyce this gorgeous picture of Christ as a little boy, and it was signed by the artist!Tyce was really excited about his banana bread with whipped cream on it...

Oregon Trip Part 2...
Here are some more pics from our week in Oregon...
Tyce and me, he was SUCH a good boy on the trip... Adorable pic of the cousins holding hands...
Gosh we had so much fun together as a family. Luckily I get to go back in a month for our girl's retreat! Yay! Well, one post to come...Tyce's first birthday!!!!

Of course they loved throwing rocks...When I first got there I was ready to say goodbye to my sugar free diet for the week. My dad snapped a picture of my first cookie in 7 weeks...IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!Joshy enjoying a smore...One of the highlights of the week was playing spoons with my grandparents. Ah it was a HILARIOUS night! My grandparents are such good sports and they make any game so very entertaining! At one point...root beer came out my mom's nose because she was laughing so hard! We took the boys to this golf course and they had fun about the first 9 holes, then they got hot and bored but still had fun...Tyce's first time in a hot tub. He was SO cute. He held on so tight to those two balls and cuddled me so tight...Grandpa being silly with the boys...Parker and I...Our attempt at a family picture...We rented the boys some bikes and they had fun with daddy riding around the resort...They LOVED the hot tub on the patio, they went in pretty much every morning...For obvious reasons, this looked too funny to not take a picture of...They loved the kiddie pool as well...Tyce making a silly face....Look closely through the chairs and you'll see two cute bums!More hot tub fun...Joshy enjoying some rootbeer with his smores...They had fun making smores but Jackson HATED eating them because he got so sticky, haha. Josh, of course, had no problem with it...Ok so these pics are backward but one night my dad, Jason, Lindsay, and Parker thought it would be fun to throw these plastic balls into this high ceiling fan and see where it shoots them out to. Well, one of Jason's balls happens to pull the chain and turn the fan off! I know, what are the odds? Well it's a very high ceiling so they formed a human pyramid to turn it back on, and it worked!
He was just too short so he grabbed some long tongs to help pull the chain...
